Your solo traveller friend
Hi I’m Sonia. I'm 28, and I've spent the past four years working in corporate roles while travelling extensively as a solo female traveller and digital nomad across Asia, Europe, and Central America.
Over the years, I've met a lot of women wanting to travel soloand not able to make the first step. Most of them don't struggle because they lack travel information. If anything, there's too much of it between Instagram, TikTok, AI, blogs and endless recommendations online.
But more than that, I think a lot of women are held back by something else: fear.
Fear of travelling alone. Fear of not meeting people. Fear of making the wrong choice. Fear of stepping outside their comfort zone for the first time. Fear of ending up in dangerous situations. Many of them might also have people around them spreading scary stories as well, reinforcing that feeling. And so no matter how much you want to travel solo, the anxiety is everywhere in your stomach and your heart.
I know because I've felt all of those things myself. And to be honest, still after travelling 20 more countries solo, I still get the jitters a few days before going on a trip. But the reality is, those jitters are not a sign that something bad is happening. It’s the sign that you are doing something unique and exciting. And I can promise after your first solo trip, you will already be thinking about the next one.
My approach
Travel should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
I help aspiring solo travellers and digital nomads overcome their fear of travel and plan trips that feel exciting and aligned with the way they actually want to travel.
Whether you need help on how to make friends, keep a routine while travelling or overcome your fear of dining solo or want more practical advice on how to organise your trip, think of me as the friend who's already gone first and is happy to share everything she's learned along the way.
I created a short quiz to help you figure out what’s really holding you back from booking your first solo trip, and what kind of support would actually help you move forward.
👉 It takes 2 minutes and might make everything feel a lot clearer.

"I had wanted to solo travel for years, but I was honestly terrified of taking the first step. Sonia helped me figure out an itinerary that actually felt safe and manageable for a first solo trip, while still pushing me out of my comfort zone in the best way. She gave me so many practical tips, from how to meet people naturally in hostels to feeling comfortable dining alone or joining activities by myself. I ended up feeling so much more confident than I ever expected."

"Most solo travel advice online felt either too extreme or very influencer-focused, and I couldn’t really relate to it. Sonia understood that I wanted a more comfortable and slower-paced experience while still travelling independently. She recommended beautiful boutique hotels to stay in, helped me feel safer navigating Bali alone, and gave me advice on how to socialise without forcing myself into the typical backpacker scene. It made the whole experience feel much more natural and enjoyable"

"The Philippines looked amazing, but planning it as a remote worker felt complicated because of the WiFi situation and moving between islands. Sonia had done it several times before and helped me understand which places realistically worked for remote workers, how to handle power outages during my calls, how to structure my trip without constantly feeling stressed about logistics."
